Monday 14th November:
Skin Deep: The Business of Beauty, BBC3
Prepare for a look into the ugly side of the Britain’s beauty business. Host Jessica-Jane Clement explores the UK’s unregulated hair and beauty salons and meets the women who have become their victims.
Tuesday 15th November:
Rick Stein Tastes the Blues, BBC4, 9pm
Travelling around the Mississippi Delta, the wandering Cornish chef charts how food and music have become intertwined over history. On his journey Rick Stein visits restaurants, bars and famous concert venues, paying homage to the regions greatest dishes.
Wednesday 16th November:
Pan Am, BBC2, 9pm
Get ready for take off. Pan Am finally starts this week and we can barely contain our excitement. Following the glamorous highs and lows of four air hostesses in 1960’s America this glossy period drama is set to become our new TV obsession.
Thursday 17th November:
Children in Need Rocks Manchester, BBC1, 8pm
Tune in for an impressive evening of music in aid of Children in Need. The star-studded evening will be hosted by the lovely Gary Barlow alongside Fearne Cotton, Chris Moyles and David Tennant. A host of artists including Snow Patrol, Coldplay and Michael Buble will perform to show their support for the annual Pudsey Bear cause.
Friday 18th November:
Children in Need, BBC1, 7.30pm
Sir Terry Wogan is back with a host of celebrities for a night of farce, frivolity and fundraising. With contributions from Strictly Come Dancing, Doctor Who, Dragon’s Den and the cast of Outnumbered, this years TV spectacular is sure to raise plenty of laughs and lots of money.
Saturday 19th November:
The Killing, BBC4, 9pm
The Killing, the award winning Danish drama, is back for a second series. When the body of a lawyer is found murdered in puzzling circumstances, detective Sarah Lund begins a desperate search for the murderer. This thrilling and gripping drama will have you on the edge of your seat for the next ten weeks.
Sunday 20th November:
Grease, Channel 4, 5.20pm
Don your leather jacket and reminisce about those summer nights with Grease. This classic sing-along is Red’s ultimate guilty pleasure, and perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon. Though it’s got some competition, when it comes to musical high school drama, Grease is still the word.
